The Dark Arts AP Camera is a complex experimental device in paranormal research. It uses multiple methods of detection in a single contained device that is both handheld and mountable.
What is the AP Camera?
The Apparition Camera is a scanning camera that will capture and understand the environment.
All of the data is gathered and displayed in real time. The connected PC based tablet gathers all the data into one central program for simple viewing and recording. One single screen shows all your data: Imaging, Audio Range, Distance, Light Levels and Visualized Object Scanning.
This camera will detect humans and animals in absolute darkness or full light. It also seems to see bodies which show up as a skeletal figure when there is nothing apparent to the naked eye which is believed to be spirits.
The AP Camera allows you to record video directly to the tablet or to SD card. The AP Camera is powered by rechargeable batteries (which are supplied in the package) that enable you to use up to 6 hours of continuous use.
Easy to use straight out the box format. Just simply add the batteries provided, switch both the tablet and camera on. Open the software and you are ready to go use in the matter of a couple of minutes!
The pistol grip is removable therefore you can add additional mounts such as tripods.
Here's how it works: It uses an RGB camera with depth sensor and infrared light projector with a monochrome CMOS sensor which sees everything not as a flat image, but as dots arranged in a 3D environment. These 1000's of infrared dots allow the camera to "see" depth and detail like sonar. The install software can recognize people by distinguishing body parts, joints, and movements.
If the AP Camera shows a person-shaped object on the screen that you cannot see with the naked eye then there is something there the IR is detecting and the programming is recognized as a human shape based on body parts and joints together
